8 inch Preserved Moss Ball

Best described as a 8" ball of moss, this particular topiary is not planning in any type of pot but instead simply sets wherever it is placed. Although it may appear has an uncommon piece to include in any type of decor is believed that this particular style of plant should best be included in a more traditional setting.

Overall, the description of this plant can best be described as being a neatly design ball of moss that looks to be a bit rugged in some areas while providing a natural greenery look (much like outdoor shrubbery). However, the ball of moss has been preserved using glycerin solution that allows the ball of moss to not only keep its shape and form but to also keep its natural color. This occurs during the preservation process, a period of time in which the plant (or ball, in this case) soaks up the entire dosage of glycerin solution when it is become dehydrated from low humidity and heat. As a result, the plant has been able to withstand normal temperatures and requires no sunlight, water, or outdoor placement to survive the elements. That said, two things that one can do to maintain the plants lifespan of three years or more is to occasionally keep the plant dust free using a light feather duster or a can of air. Please note that when using a can of air spray a fair distance away from the moss ball surface has to not harm its shape and form. In addition to keeping the moss ball dusted from time to time the only thing remaining to be done is to place the moss ball topiary in a natural location that goes well with a traditional type decor but can yet be easily viewed by any passerby. When choosing the best location to place this moss ball please keep in mind that it requires no sunshine, water, or need to be outdoors but at the same time it does need to also be placed in a location where there is no humidity nor heat. One final note regarding the moss ball is that it not only provides some additional color to any decor but it also makes a nice centerpiece.
