How to Water & Prolong the Life of your Fresh Heart Ivy Topiary:
Take care to prolong the life of your greenery by keeping plants away from heating vents and sunny windows. Mist greenery every day or two if possible.

Watering Tip: Le the soil dry so much that the leaves wilt.  Let the pot drain for at least five to 10 minutes, and then pour the water out of the saucer. If your pot doesn't have a removable drainage saucer, remove the hanging basket from the hook. Hold the container over a sink and water slowly underwater trickles through the drainage hole. Allow the container to drain thoroughly before returning it to the hanger. Check the container often to look for dry soil and repeat as stated above.

Placement: First, how much light will it need? There should be a plastic bag stuck in the dirt or a sticker on the side of the pot that will tell you all about the plant. Does it need low light, medium light, filtered light, or full sun? If you have a specific place you want the plant, make sure you buy a type that can handle the amount of light in that area. Second, how much water does it need? Is it going to require a lot of attention to keep it moist? Are you willing to give it that attention? Does it need humidity? Do you live in a dry climate? And last of all, how fast does it grow and how big does it get? Maybe you have a smaller pot you want it to live in but it grows fast and before you know it you need to transplant it.
