This allows for them to accept and integrate a great deal of our patented glycerin solution, which is largely responsible for establishing the preserved state of the plants. 

This preserved nature means that essentially no maintenance is required to assure the health and integrity of the plants. The only thing that we ask is that you forego watering them and exposing them to sunlight, as either of these things—while obviously helpful for traditional plants—will damage and harm our preserved topiaries.
