After this, the plant is preserved, so that it can be enjoyed by a customer for many years (at least seven, with proper care and maintenance) to come. This process begins with a spot inside of our scientifically proven plant storage facilities, wherein we increase the temperature and lower the humidity of the atmosphere, to create a thirst within the plants for liquid. This thirst is quenched with a glycerin solution, which works to preserve the plant. Occasionally, based upon the plant at-hand, we may add some food-grade color dyes as well. It’s important to note that these substances—and every other element which we use on and in our plants—are natural, and completely safe to be around for you, your loved ones, and your pets.

1. Don’t water your topiary.
2. Don’t expose your topiary to direct sunlight. 
3. Don’t store your topiary outside. 
4. Dust your topiary occasionally, using a feather duster or a can of air from at least two inches away.
