Pieris japonica Prelude
Pieris japonica Prelude
After six years in the garden, Pieris japonica Prelude (Taiwanensis Group) has still only reached about 3 feet tall. They are symmetrical and appear in whorls of decreasing size up the stems. The inflorescences also are very upright as opposed to lateral, the flowers held more outward than downward. There is only modest pink in the buds in the winter. Seasonality is Early spring. Measurements are around 6 feet x 6 feet Colors are White flowers Hardiness Zones: 7, 8, 9
