Lavandula Susan Belsinger

Lavandula Susan Belsinger
Lavandula Susan Belsinger
The aroma of Lavandula Susan Belsinger (Thomas DeBaggio, 1995) is less sweet and more camphor like. The leaves are gray green in the spring and green as they mature. An ideal candidate for adding to moss animal topiaries. At bloom time, the shrub is mid sized, open in habit and has attractive dark flowers. Seasonality is July. Measurements are around 35 inches x 50 inches Colors are Dark Violet Blue flowers Hardiness Zones: 6, 7, 8 This is a cultivar of Lavandula angustifolia. Lavenders need full sun and very good drainage. Because of our rainy winters, we amend our soil with 1 and 4 ten gravel and top dress with the same to keep plant stems and foliage from resting on wet soil.
