Fuchsia Tom Thumb
Fuchsia Tom Thumb
Fuchsia Tom Thumb (Baudinet, 1850) is a wonderful upright free flowering bush that sports small flowers as its namesake suggests. The flowers have carmine tubes and sepals and mauve purple corollas. Very hardy for the Pacific North West. An ideal candidate for adding to moss animal topiaries. In the shrub-let, we grow hardy Fuchsias in full sun where they bloom non stop from late spring to first frost. In hotter climates, we recommend giving Fuchsias protection from the afternoon sun. Fuchsias make wonderful subjects in containers and for the mixed border. Seasonality is Late spring to frost. Measurements are around 2.5 feet x 2.5 feet Colors are Pink and Purple flowers Hardiness Zones: 8, 9, 10
